About the Contributing Authors

Abdullah Al-Nayeem received his Ph.D. from University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 2013. His Ph.D. dissertation title was “Physically-Asynchronous Logically-Synchronous (PALS) System Design and Development.” Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer at Google’s Pittsburgh office.

Björn Andersson has been Senior Member of Technical Staff at the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University since March 2011. He received his M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering in 1999 and his Ph.D. degree in computer engineering in 2003, both from Chalmers University, Sweden.
