Unless you take the necessary precautions now, eventually your hospital will be the target of a cyber-attack. As I stated before, it is possible to reduce the damage potential by reducing the number of attack vectors. It is possible for a cyber-physical attack to be detected quickly thereby permitting equipment to shut down gracefully (before anyone is injured).
