This is interesting, this photographic cookbook written by numerous chefs who may have never met, whose recipes may not be compatible on the same table, and who most importantly may disagree in the fundamental areas governing basic relationships between photographer and photograph. Moreover, it is assumed that we are specialists in the respective fields we are writing about, whereas my own photographic existence has been nurtured by an almost compulsive rejection of the notion of specialization, of becoming too familiar with what one already knows.
