The Principles of Data Visualization in Microsoft Excel
To my knowledge, there is little in the current spreadsheet literature discussing best practices with data visualization. There are many books on how to create pie charts, three-dimensional charts, and spider-charts, but few discuss why for each of these charts there is always a better choice available. I see why tutorials on these subjects are at first appealing; after all, the former charts are part of the Excel core package library.
