To dig more deeply into the relationship between satisfaction with one's financial situation and happiness, a second control can be introduced to check the influence of gender. Use the Crosstabs dialog, as shown in the following screenshot, to add the variable RESPONDENT SEX to the previous table as a second layer field:
In the cells dialog, check off the Observed box so that only column percentages are shown. This will make for a smaller table, and the counts for each of the main groups are already known from the last table produced.
