As you review them, challenge yourself to understand how they match up with the use cases in Chapter 7, “Analytics Use Cases and the Intuition Behind Them.” By now, you should have some idea about areas where you want to innovate. The purpose of this chapter is to introduce you to candidate algorithms to see if they meet your development goals. You are still innovating, and you therefore need to consider how to validate these algorithms and your data to come together in a unique solution.
