Demographics of Corporate Data
Abstract
Different corporations and organizations have different amounts of structured and unstructured data. Government run meteorological organizations have very little structured data and lots of repetitive unstructured data. On the other hand Mom and Pop grocery stores have a lot of structured data and very little if any unstructured repetitive data. In addition there is a different amount of business relevancy attached to different types of data. For unstructured repetitive data there is little business relevancy (expressed as a percentage of that data that exists there). But for unstructured nonrepetitive data there is a high degree of business relevancy.
