What a Data Warehouse is Not

Abstract

A data warehouse is not a place where high-performance transaction takes place. A data warehouse is not a place where heavy statistical processing occurs. A data warehouse is a place where a mixed and complex workload is accommodated. If there is a need to do heavy statistical processing, an exploration warehouse is needed.
