I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

■ Improvement 1. Use the right drives and better static single-tier storage.
■ Improvement 2. Improve facilities; replace “office” cooling with datacenter cooling.
■ Improvement 3. Consolidate. Replace server direct attached storage and multiple silo’ed storage systems with fewer consolidated storage systems and consolidated backup.
■ Improvement 4. Improve backup methods: replace tape with snapshots, relegate tape to archive only.
■ Improvement 5. Implement tiered storage and SLAs.
