Download the vSphere Replication appliance from the VMware website in ISO format and use vSphere Web Client to deploy the appliance by performing the following steps:
- Mount the downloaded vSphere Replication ISO file.
- From the Inventory view of vSphere Web Client, right-click the object level (data center, cluster, resource pool) you want to use and select Deploy OVF Template.
- From the wizard, click Browse and make sure to select all the required files (vSphere_Replication_OVF10.ovf, vSphere_Replication_OVF10.cert, vSphere_Replication_OVF10.mf, vSphere_Replication-system.vmdk, and vSphere_Replication-support.vmdk) located in the \bin directory in the mounted ISO image.
