Creating/removing a Resource Pool

Resource pools can be created and removed in a similar way in both ESXi hosts and clusters. To create resource pools in a cluster, the vSphere DRS feature must be enabled first.

To enable DRS for a cluster, proceed as follows:

  1. From vSphere Web Client, right-click the cluster object from the Inventory view and select Settings.
  2. Select the vSphere DRS tab and click Edit in the right-hand pane.
  1. Check the Turn ON vSphere DRS option:
