Abstract:
Microsoft Excel and Access have strengths in different areas when managing information. Disciplined practices make data handling safer and long-lived. Even with standards, data can be variable and/or dirty. Browsers and other applications can cause issues with data. Default settings, legacy systems and new information formats can also cause data problems.
