I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 4: Sculpting Data
Artistic sculpting requires the ability to see the potential for a work of art in raw material. The sculptor has a range of tools at their disposal to shape raw stone into something more valuable. Data analysts, similar to sculptors, can see potential in raw data to answer questions. Analysts also require tools to shape and refine the raw data. The Domo platform has many tools to enable data sculpting.
If you are not a technical data manipulation guru, then don't worry. Domo has a very approachable graphical drag-and-drop tool that requires no coding and any business analyst can use. However, if you are a SQL expert, Domo also has tools to enhance your scripting skills for sculpting data.
