This chapter is the reverse of Chapter 6. It begins by describing the concept of the antiforensic domain in relation to data concealment techniques employed during this book. It defines its goals and gives the advice to eliminate your traces when using steganographic tools to conceal secret data. Next, we talk about data destruction techniques, listing three ways in which digital data can be destroyed. We also cover how we can eliminate metadata from digital files in addition to changing digital file timestamp attributes to mislead computer forensic tools and investigators.
