Searching for the All-in-One Data Lake

Suppose that your favorite lake resort has been in business for 20 years. During that entire stretch of time, the owners of the resort only allowed swimming and speedboats on the lake, with different sections set aside for each.

Now, the owners decide to start offering fishing, canoeing, waterskiing, and other activities to broaden their resort’s offerings. So, what do they do?
