These simple applications can sometimes be useful to more advanced data scientists, but at other times, data science experts simply need more technical tools to help them delve deeper into datasets. In this chapter, I present ten free or low-cost applications you can use to complete data science tasks. You can download and install many of these applications on your personal computer, and most of the downloadable applications are available for multiple operating systems.
