The Data Delivery Platform—A New Architecture for Business Intelligence Systems
12.1 Introduction
This chapter does not describe another aspect or feature of data virtualization, nor does it explain an application area; instead, it describes the data delivery platform (DDP). The DDP is a flexible architecture for designing and developing business intelligence systems. The architecture is an alternative to the business intelligence architectures described in Section 2.8.
