Introduction

Canon makes haste slowly, especially in the case of its most popular advanced camera, which, in its latest iteration is dubbed the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. The previous Mark III was introduced in March 2012 and remained as the Canon workhorse for nearly four and a half years. It’s safe to say that the new Mark IV is one of the most eagerly anticipated upgrades Canon has ever introduced, and this camera does not disappoint. Resolution has been boosted from 22 megapixels to a whopping 30 megapixels, while retaining the excellent high ISO performance (now expandable to the equivalent of ISO 102,400) that Canon is known for.
