Advanced Techniques
As a new-design mirrorless camera, Nikon was free to include special features in the Z7, including some, like totally silent shooting, focus-shift “stacking,” and in-body image stabilization, that are not widely available in Nikon’s more conventional digital SLR lineup. Other capabilities are more common, but have some special applications in a mirrorless model like the Z7. So, I’ve saved some of my favorite advanced techniques that the Z7 excels at for this chapter, which devotes a little extra space to some special features of the camera.
