Focus on Lenses
There’s an old saying that camera bodies come and go, but lenses are forever. Photographers have tended to hang onto their lenses for many years, even as they upgraded to newer camera bodies with more features. Many of us who started out with Nikon camera bodies and have owned several different models through the years have stuck with the Nikon brand at least partially because we were able to use our existing kit of lenses with our latest and greatest camera. After all, an enthusiast’s optics collection can easily have cost many times the price of the body itself.
