In the short time since Nikon’s advanced mirrorless Z-mount cameras and accessories were introduced in August 2018, the Z-system has blossomed into a full-fledged alternative to traditional digital SLRs (chiefly those offered by Canon and Nikon itself) and mirrorless models from a variety of vendors.
