Chapter 10. Administrative API
This chapter provides a brief description of the DB2 UDB administrative APIs needed to develop administrative applications that can, among other things, administer DB2 instances, back up and restore databases, and import and export data.
This chapter assumes you understand database administration and application programming, and have knowledge of:
SQL
The C, COBOL, or FORTRAN programming languages
Application program design
