Point-in-Time Rollforward Recovery to Local Time

A new USING LOCAL TIME clause on the ROLLFORWARD DATABASE command allows you to roll logs forward to a point in time that represents the server's local time rather than Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). This feature eliminates potential user errors in conversion of local time to GMT. Returned messages are also based on local time. Time conversions occur on the server and, on partitioned database systems, on the catalog database partition.
