Abstract

In recent years, most universities with dedicated programs in media, business, and communication, have ad minimum aspects of media economics covered as part of undergraduate and graduate programs. Still others have developed specialized master programs into media and digital management, business, and economics. This chapter presents an overview of different forms of teaching in media economics, and it further examines some preconditions and challenges when developing a contemporary teaching curriculum in media economics.
