Presentation Sabotage
I was invited to speak at a high-level investors conference in Tianjin, China. My role was to promote all the wonderful investment opportunities available in our region, from real estate and technology, to natural resources and tourism.
My PowerPoint was very carefully structured so that there were a number of “wow” pregnant pauses throughout that were intended to dazzle the audience and get them reaching for their checkbooks. With only 15 minutes to speak, the presentation was designed to capitalize on every second.
