Ian is the founder and managing partner of Ekofolio, a Luxembourg-based mission-driven fintech company catalyzing investment in forests by making them tradeable and more liquid. He is passionate about enabling systemically important projects that accelerate meaningful transformations for industries and people. Ian started his career in consulting and has served as a cofounder, board member, and advisor to numerous entrepreneurial ventures — including Power-Blox Africa and the Nordic Blockchain Association. He is a speaker at many global entrepreneurship and technology conferences and has taught at top business schools in Denmark. Above all, he feels a deep duty to leave the world better than it was when he found it and develop the next generation while doing it.
Ian holds an MSc in global politics from the London School of Economics (LSE) and has attended IESE Business School and Harvard Business School.
