5 Deduplicating Photos

After you gathered all your digital files back in chapter 4, you might have felt overwhelmed. Our average client project starts with more than 100,000 digital files, and some clients have millions of photos to organize. The good news is that a typical project includes more than fifty percent duplicates. And I’m not talking about similar photos, but exact technical duplicates. If you delete these duplicates, it’s going to simplify your project, save time, and bring you relief. After all, there’s no sense in organizing what you’re just going to throw away, right?
