Introduction

Even though we’ve already got a tutorial based on sun (in the accompanying electronic book), this particular tutorial tackles the effect in greater detail using a different method of generation and a different particle system to produce the effect. There are a couple of aspects which are identical, namely the way the particles find their target, and even though the particle system is much more simplified, it produces a much better result due to constant searching for destination targets (or “gravity wells”) akin to the real thing.
