It seems like you can always find something else to degunk. When you’re finished degunking, it seems like you have to start again, from the beginning. While this is ultimately true, once you’ve been through the degunking process once, subsequent degunking sessions should take far less time.

You learned how to run older software, find drivers for older hardware, and troubleshoot driver issues. You learned what can be upgraded and how, and even some tips for physically cleaning your machine.
