Clean the Nooks and Crannies
It may just about blow your mind to think that there are still places on your hard drive that contain gunk! Trust me, there are. If your computer is like mine, you likely have temporary (*.tmp) files hiding in every nook and cranny. You learned a little about finding temporary files using Search earlier in this chapter. If you’ve never taken the time to clean up your temporary files, though, or if you did a search for them earlier, you no doubt will get (or got) a big surprise! You can free up lots of hard drive space quickly and easily simply by deleting these unnecessary files.
