Irena Bauman is a Founding Director of Bauman Lyons Architects and has been Professor of Sustainable Urbanism at the University of Sheffield School of Architecture since 2012. Her diverse research interests relate to the role and work of the architect, as well as the impact of architecture and the built environment, with particular reference to sustainability and the environmental, social and economic futures of buildings and communities.
