CONTRIBUTOR PROFILE: RICHARD COTTRELL
Richard Cottrell co-founded Cottrell & Vermeulen Architecture with Brian Vermeulen in 1992. As well as his own practice he is a studio tutor at the Cass School of Architecture at London Metropolitan University.
Many of our built projects to date have been educational buildings and schools. Aside from our interest in designing environments that enable and encourage learning, we have increasingly found that schools are among the few remaining places in our society where communities come together.
