Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) is the heart of your organization and, by its very nature, holds important information in its database that is irreplaceable. If you had to rebuild your organization’s computing environment from scratch as a result of a catastrophic event, it would be difficult, if not impossible, to do so without a restorable backup of AD DS.
