Chapter 10. Troubleshooting Client-Related Issues

Wireless client vendors are numerous. Each vendor interprets and implements the wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) standards differently. As long as the standards are adhered to, however, different client vendor wireless clients should be able to associate and authenticate to the wireless infrastructure of any other vendor. With this in mind, you might notice that some clients work better than others. You can also have situations in which two clients using the same model of wireless adapter behave differently.
