Chapter 10. The Process of Critical Parameter Management in Product Development

The steps of Critical Parameter Management can be mapped to a technology development or product commercialization process. CPM is laid out so it can account for any developing system of many-to-many critical parametric relationships. It helps structure a "designed" flow of tools and metrics on a phase-by-phase basis to manage risk. This fact alone requires CPM to be a process.
