Chapter 11. The Tools and Best Practices of Critical Parameter Management
Critical Parameter Management is most effective when practiced under the discipline of a broad portfolio of Six Sigma tools and best practices. These tools and best practices focus on the development and documentation of a systemwide network of critical functional requirements that are fulfilled and validated by the measurement of critical functional responses and specifications (Figure 11-1). Without this network of requirement and response relationships, critical paths cannot be clearly defined, linked, optimized, tracked, and ultimately certified.
