Introduction

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, mentoring is advising or training another person, particularly a less experienced colleague. It is the activity of a mentor to support, advise, and guide another individual. Guiding is the act of leading to direct or control the path to influence another individual's thoughts. It is providing advice or help on how to do or understand something. Support is the act of helping a person by providing assistance or backing. On the other hand, leadership is leading or influencing others within a given context to achieve a goal or shared goals in an organisational context.
