1. The SOLID Design Principles

SOLID is an acronym which stands for the following design principles (and their abbreviations):
  • Single Responsibility Principle (SRP)

  • Open-Closed Principle (OCP)

  • Liskov Substitution Principle (LSP)

  • Interface Segregation Principle (ISP)

  • Dependency Inversion Principle (DIP)
