6 An Adaptive Virtual Gallery
In this chapter we present a design scenario that applies the generative design grammar described in Chapter 5 within a Generative Design Agent (GDA). The design scenario consists of eight different stages. These different stages present various situations where changes may occur in a virtual gallery during its use; for example, changes of activities, changes of exhibition requirements, changes of visitors, and so on. The design scenario demonstrates that the artist’s GDA reasons about these changes and dynamically generates and modifies the design of the virtual gallery to accommodate the changes.
