Forget Homer. An identity project worth its bytes will be hard work for everybody, which is why spreading out the pain is a great idea.
There’s nothing wrong with saying you don’t know everything. Or for that matter, you might very well have brilliant people working for you, but simply not enough muscle. Face it, your internal staff doesn’t implement IAM on a daily basis. So it’s pretty common with IAM projects to shop for help. There are lots of options, not all of them good, but several of them very decent.
