Choosing an Authoring System
Are you an expert computer programmer? Do you feel competent enough in C++ or in Visual Basic to program a series of menu screens and to provide the links to audio and video files? Can you program the computer to display a complex animation? Do you have the skills to produce a computer program that will handle a diverse set of questions and trainee responses?
If you can answer with a confident “Yes!” to those questions—Congratulations! You belong to a select group of people who may not need to use an authoring system.
