Chapter 8Developing for Android
There will always be two sides to the argument regarding Android versus Apple. While Apple focused on making its margins from the hardware that houses the apps we develop, developers for Google’s Android OS typically focus on services first. All an OEM would need to do is to purchase Android licenses for its plethora of devices, and it could make it its own with Android’s open standard. This has led to a predictable result.
