This chapter is dedicated to understanding the decisions we should take before actually going to the whiteboard and start brainstorming ideas. In some cases, some people might decide to take such decisions along the way, but, in my opinion, it’s better to have at least some fixed points to define a perimeter. This speeds up the process.

Decisions like: Which devices work best for my target audience? Should this product be a native app or a web app? What kind of experience is this going to be?

Having at least some of these questions answered gives us some bricks ...
