Appendix D. Performance Counter Quick Reference
This appendix covers a common set of performance counters that can be useful for various types of applications. You’ll invariably use a combination of these to achieve your goals. Keep in mind that no single performance counter will give you a complete picture of your application. Many of these counters must be used in combination to give you a clear picture of what is actually happening. Also note that some problems can never be clarified by performance counters.
