In the previous chapter, we subscribed to the rational agent definition of AI. In this chapter, we define rational agents in an environment. We describe how AI works from the lens of input-output mappings, feedback loops, and rewards. Toward the end of the chapter, we discuss the probabilistic nature of AI models.
