Putting It All Together

As in any book of this type, there are usually more than just a few questions that the text has had a tendency to generate. While perhaps we have outlined the “big ticket” issues that need to be addressed to get started and some ways on how one might accomplish these tasks, we would be absolutely remiss if we did not caution the reader that the “devil is in the details.” Definition and clarity are of utmost importance every step along the way. Our purpose here was to forewarn and thereby forearm the reader, hoping and trusting that the reader will not get “forearmed” by the supply-chain development activities they are engaged with.
