Creating Interactivity and PDF Forms

When it comes to interactivity in InDesign, the choice of which features you can use will be dictated by the choice of output format rather than by InDesign itself.

For example, interactive PDFs support basic interactive features such as hyperlinks, bookmarks, and buttons, but they are less reliable when it comes to things such as video or audio, due to differing support in different PDF readers. Alternatively, InDesign’s built-in Publish Online capability supports not only all these features but also animation and embedded web content, allowing you to quickly share documents as a link that people can easily view in a web browser.
