Preflighting and Outputting
In this chapter, we will look at preflighting and outputting your documents to a range of different formats.
Preflighting is a useful process that you can undertake before outputting your document to ensure that everything will output as required and ensure there are no hidden problems. The preflight requirements will vary depending on the type of document you are outputting; for example, if you are outputting a print-ready PDF, you will want to ensure your images are all of a high enough resolution for print, while in a small file size digital PDF, you would want to aim for a lower resolution to help bring the overall file size down.
