Chapter 7. Labeling the Interface

Recently, I did a usability review for an e-learning company working on the second version of their featured product, a Web-based course-builder tool.

The product was designed primarily for e-learning developers. The idea was that people who already knew quite a bit about e-learning courseware and score-tracking systems could build their courses in less time by using this tool to create slides based on a selection of templates. Users would create a new course, create the slides they needed, choose templates for each one, and then fill out some forms to create the content for each slide.
