4.3. Designing XML-Based Applications
There are a number of considerations to keep in mind when designing XML-based applications, particularly Web service applications. For one, you may need to design an XML schema specific for your domain. You also need to consider how your application intends to receive and send documents, and how and when to go about validating those documents. It is also important to separate the XML document processing from the application's business logic processing.
